¹⁰ So they took the soot from the kiln and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses tossed it toward the sky, and it became boils breaking out with sores on man and beast. ^11 (A)And the ^[a]magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians ^[b]as well as on all the Egyptians. ¹² And ^(B)Yahweh ^[c]hardened Pharaoh’s heart with strength, and he did not listen to them, just as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.
